Consultation Draft Local Place Plan for Aboyne

From 16 November 2024, the Consultation Draft was made available for community comment. A copy of the draft plan was available on this website (see below) and a copy was placed in Aboyne Library for those without access to the internet. A Community Open Day was held on 23 November 2024 for members of the community to come and see the plan, meet the team and find out more about the plan's Initiatives and Proposals 

We welcomed comments from the community on the Consultation Draft by 1 December 2024

In December 2024, we also invited Aberdeenshire Councillors from Wards 15 and 16 and neighbouring community councils to comment on the Consultation Draft

There were many messages of support for the proposals set out in the plan, no objections, and some suggestions for minor changes or additions. These suggestions were worked into the final version of the plan. Changes made to the plan between the Consultation Draft and the published final version are shown here under "Feedback on the Consultation Draft"
